This weekend the u13s to u18s took on Mt Druitt Rangers.

U13s drew with all other grades registering wins.

Next week they take on Sea-bogans away.

U20s won against Apia-Leichhardt 2-1

Ali Auglah & Rory Jordan, they are looking promising and hopefully can make a real impact in NPL1 for us. Especially Ali.

Wanted to get to the game on Sat against Marconi but wont be able to make it.

Fingers crossed we take the 3 points from this one!

Football NSW has declared all leagues for next 2021 season.

WS Wanderers U20 and NPL return to NPL2 following the short-lived elevation to NPL1

WS Wanderers Youth Teams remain in the Tier 1

Interesting to see North Shore Mariners are no more severing ties with the Sea-bogans and are now returned to Northbridge FC.

Newcastle Jets U20 and NPL return to NPL4

Apparently competition review is still underway for all competitions.

Not NSW but I didn't see a generic NPL thread.

Disregard. It's another one of those fake accounts...

Apparently, Graham Arnold has had a say in restructuring the NPL into 3 divisions of 16 teams with changes to eligibility rules for A-league academies.

The youth team guru has now got into Football NSW. Apparently, since NYL is set to canned due costs, Top 3 tiers in NSW go 16 team competitions so will affect 3 out of 4 A-league academies (Smurfs,  Sea-bogans and WSW). Not clear if Newcastle Jets Academy will stay in NPL4.

NPL NSW starts tonight with Manly United vs Mount Druitt Town Rangers at 7pm and Marconi Stallions vs Sydney Youth at 7:45pm.

I follow this instagram page: https://www.instagram.com/npldaily/ which keeps up to date with NPL NSW results and they have mentioned all of this season's signings. I've noted some that are interesting

- Blake Powell: Sutherland Sharks > APIA Leichhardt
- Mathieu Cordier: Wanderers > APIA Leichhardt (I mentioned on his ex-players thread that his trial at Salford City was unsuccessful)
- Tristan Prendergast: Wanderers > Blacktown City (returns to them after being on loan)
- Ben Koop: Sydney FC Youth > Manly United
- Stefan Nikolic: Wanderers > Marconi Stallions (Seems weird that Robbo promoted him and now he is released)
- Tarek Elrich: Perth Glory > Mount Druitt Town Rangers
- Marc Warren: Sutherland Sharks > Mount Druitt Town Rangers
- Rory Jordan: Wanderers Youth > Northbridge FC
- Bai Antoniou: Sydney Olympic > Rochdale Ilinden FC
- Anthony Bouzanis: Hakoah Sydney > Sutherland Sharks
- Mohamed Adam: Wanderers > Sydney Olympic
- Fabian Monge: Wanderers > Sydney Olympic
- Yu Hasegawa: J2 League club V-Varen Nagasaki > Sydney Olympic (Him and Mitch Duke played together at Shimizu S-Pulse)
- Marley Peterson Manly United > Sydney Olympic (Apparently he was a former Wanderers Academy player)
- Chris Payne: APIA Leichhardt > Sydney United 58
- Andrea Agamemnonos Cypriot club MEAP Pera Choriou Nisou > Sydney United 58 (Former Wanders Youth Player)

I feel like the teams that'll make the top 5 finals are going to be either:

- Sydney United 58
- Rochdale Ilinden
- APIA Leichhardt
- Wollongong Wolves
- Sydney Olympic

I say Mount Druitt Town Rangers and Marconi Stallions might be the two clubs that'll surprise a few fans and could be in the finals.

Blacktown City, Manly United and Sydney FC will have a quiet season

Northbridge FC and Sutherlands Sharks will be fighting for relegation

Blasphemer, Blacktown City never have a quiet season, they'll win it.

Who knows, Danny Choi might return.

Choi returning would be awesome. The signs of Travis Major and Sean Rooney are good signings for the Blacktown City. I'm curious to see how Shabow and Bandiera go. However, I don't think they'll win it.

I watched the Mount Druitt Town Rangers vs Manly United game, it ended 1-1. It should of ended Rangers 1 Manly 0 as John Roberts scored early in the 2nd half and then Manly's new Japanese player Seiya Kambayashi scored a header in the 93rd minute.

Currently watching Marconi Stallions vs Sydney FC Youth. It's Stallions 0 - Sydney FC 1. The Stallions are relying on their new Chris Hatfield too much to prove them a goal.

I forgot to mention this but Tarek Elrich debuted for Mount Druitt Rangers on Friday night against Manly United and it was very short lived. It seems that he might have an ankle injury as he was chasing a Manly United player and then was limping as soon as got around the penalty area.

He was off the field around the 11th/12th minute and then the trainers signalled to do a substitution and was taken off around the 13th minute.

Got a feel sorry for him and hope it's a minor injury.

not a good look for football in australia in general especially if a fan gets involved in on field action. Only harsh punishment is going to deter anymore fools from running onto the field and worse carrying a weapon, cue for all NPL matches now to have security searches on fans just like in the A League with the seccies wands.

Going to be interesting how Football NSW will address this.

I'm assuming the match was abandoned after the incident occurred and at what minute did the incident occurred?

Both fines will probably be slapped with a fine (even though they didn't do anything...except the Sydney Olympic fans throwing stuff)

The guy that did the stabbing should be charged and banned from attending any NPL/A-League match for life.

Whoops, Sydney United. My Bad.

I was going to say, it would seem odd for Sydney Olympic fans to do that as they seem more laid back.
