I read after the 2002 WC final loss, Germany totally re-structured its youth development and invested 1 billion into it till now.

It's been paying off.

Why do Aussies have a such fascination with Dutch systems, German system much more efficient.

Because we are retarded.

Its no secret the DFB have implemented the best youth system in any sport anywhere in the world. Still, i guess the dutch system is better than what we have

Just like German sex.

Is it any surprise Germans do so well. They have the never say die attitude of the Aussies, the skill level and tactical awareness comparable to the Spanish (I will add Brazil traditionally to that at least) and the discipline of, well - Germans.

And arguably the best run domestic league in the world.

Combine all these and you get 7-1.

They brought the bundesliga under the control of the DFB, unlike in England where the premier league and the FA are two separate organisations.

This allowed them to control the clubs in terms of player development and finances.

We have a similar system in Australia where the FFA controls the A-League, however the FFA are run by a bunch of dickheads

There's hope. FFA has an official cooperation agreement with the German Football Federation. Let's hope the amateurs at FFA headquarters have a Klose look how the pros do it.

I schuerrle hope so. We desperately need a neuer model

Moving Lahm back to RB has been the key for Germany. It has allowed Schweinsteiger & Khedira to boss the middle, which has allowed Kroos to just totally dominate. Lahm provides great threat down the wing, but how this opens up the middle is what is key for the Germans.

I don't know how they can be stopped?

Maybe Kruse and Kroos could get to know each other a little better?

Wait a minute, what about the conspiracy? what about the conspiracy?.... Brazil can't lose........how about "Chaos" theory?

Conspiracies always fail when they meet science and machinery

Rocket launchers and high powered automatic rifles do the trick. However, occasionally the Spanish and Italian football teams will suffice. The same rule theoretically applies for the Dutch and Argentinian teams, but it is yet to be proven in practice.

The dutch often take their cyanide pill at first sign of a pass to the wrong team mate. Looks like they have finally read the instructions this WC!

Slept through the alarm.... woke up around half time, rolled over to check my phone.... thought I was still asleep. How? Huh?

So I got dressed and made my way to work (thinking "I'll just watch the replay when I get there"- Thanks Boss for agreeing to the tv in the office)

Checked SBS guide... no replay until 4pm. Get Farked.

Don't worry they were trying - especially trying to appeal the Silva yellow

Yep, BBC coverage has been the only way to go this world cup :good:

Pretty sure he's referring to the Bavarian Bier Cafe in Parramatta.

Really though, you're both right.

Worst Brazilian team I've ever seen. They didn't even look that good against Croatia in the opening game n were lucky with some bodgy decisions to win.Chile unlucky not to win in the last seconds , overall Brazil were basically crap. Past players like Vava, Garrincha, Socrates etc. would've been doing scissor kicks in their graves! I'm sure I saw Pele n Zico pulling on their jerseys after 20mins. So much for the Brazilian production line of quality players , I think the power has been well n truly cut.

Brazil just left out a lot of players with this kind of quality and chose to have players with more of a physical quality and less flair in order to play the more tactical/euro team way.

Players like Pato,Robinho,Leiva,Moura,Kaka, and too a less extent Ronaldinho would off added that extra technical ablilty that Brazil so well are know to be the masters of the world to get them above other teams.

Defense wise Miranda,Filipe Luis both from atletico madrid paired up with Rafinha might of stregthened up the squad. Anyway had to come, 7-1 is a huge arse wopping but sometimes we all need a arse wopping so we can start fresh again.
