Am I the only one that sort of likes the chopping and changing? I don’t mind sitting elsewhere although I sit literally on the halfway line in my “typical” seat

I don't mind to be honest. I'll usually always stay in my seat in the first half of games.

After that I tend to go walkabout to different parts of the stadium to watch from different areas, views, perspectives etc.

I like watching the action from different angles. Bit of variety.

Might also mean I sit next to future Mrs. Unlimited

There are always going to be a few games each season where not many people turn up

So if people want to sit somewhere else that's fine

Occasionally I'd take my mum to some games. The issue was that we were seated upstairs behind a family with young children who would get excited and kick the back of her chair.

They weren't being malicious just clumsy.

We decided to have a look at the downstairs bays and choose one for the evening.

Great way for meeting someone. I think back now to the epic UEFA cup come backs in the QF’s and SF when each time I ended up dancing around and hugging the total stranger women next to me, in fact for the QF against Basel when the injury time winner hit the back of the net we went over the back of the seats in front of us and we’re on the floor for a little while lol Total…*******…mayhem that was….just one of those moments where everyone loses their inhibitions and go totally mental. As a single fella good place to be.

I spent just about an entire season at the old Parra stadium not sitting in my allocated seat and moving around the ground

I deliberately picked a different bay to my normal one for this game. I've been in my regular seat plenty of times and will be there for years so whenever there's a chance to try somewhere else I usually do.

Taking the entire family to this one.......so hello family seating area 105.......*yay*.......... 2 quick questions. 1) Can I drink beer in the family area? and 2) Do the seating rows go from lower numbers to higher numbers as you move away from the pitch? I can't remember

Family Zone = no drinking

Seating rows = Row 1 closest to the pitch

75% is stupid. They did the same thing at the NRL GF and everyone just condensed into the same bays lol

Happy to be educated otherwise but the idea a 75% capacity is somehow safer than 100% seems dumb to me unless they actually enforce distancing in every row.

Was just told by the membership team that it was a technical error that opened up the RBB section to non members. I honestly think they should just scrap members only RBB and let anyone buy tickets to help fill it up. This was the case for season 1 and possibly 2, and look how good it was. I understand that their is the risk of having away fans buying tickets there, but the solution could be to warn buyers that away fans will be turned away.

It's just too hard to get 2 k (or whatever the capacity is of that section) to commit to a full season membership for active support. Casuals/part timers are definitely needed.

I don't think its a bad idea, i'm just saying why I thought it ended up getting closed to only members.

And there's also a good chance that the away active could out number us as its open for any away fan, not just active. Our own active away seems to be bigger than home for a lot of matches.

It was the A-League, from memory - Season 2, the gate at the side had to be shut, because we were all supposed to have dedicated seats. But, believe it or not, that was actually seen as a positive (not the seats part, but the gate shut) - because blow ins made it hard to coordinate tifos and would spend all their time on phones and all that.

Now we are in the brave new world would be good to think they could just open it up again.

From memory it was limited to members only due to flares and other behaviour that led to widespread issues for the RBB/club.

It's arguably a bit different nowadays considering the CCTV etc. that is available meaning identification is potentially easier.

Why not do both. What if it was opened for any member to sit in the Active section. That way the club would still know whoever one is, it would allow any member to wander in and participate.
