NATO Posted May 7, 2013 Share Posted May 7, 2013 Elrich along with Gibbs have signed for the Marconi Stallions for this seasons NSWPL So putting themselves in for more game time with the hope to be picked up by another A-League team? I can see Joey working that path but can Tarek? Keeping match fit (or perhaps in their case, getting match fit), getting game time, and getting paid. Whats the wage like for these guys at Marconi is it enough to live so they can keep focused? Link to comment

Fell down the pecking order as more players were signed/proved their place in the side. Apparently, he and popa had a falling out over his lack of game time (unfortunately). Would have preferred he stay, but what can you do? Glad he signed with Adelaide, I can see him doing well there Link to comment

It was unfortunate for him that we signed Polenz and he basically had to sit behind him in the pecking order, otherwise he pratically starts every game. He is a good solid pro and a club like Adelaide will get good value out of Tarek. He can start at almost any A-league club. Wishing him the best. Agree...left back was where AUFC had probs last night, which I think hinted at maybe some conditioning problems for Zullo when he moved back into that pozzie after Mabil came on and Tarek switched returned to his more familiar RB position.
