So Tass , O'Doherty and maybe 1 or 2 more so we can get Ugarkovic. Are we that desperate. I wouldn't swap Tass for him, let alone 2 or 3 other players. I don't think he's all that good in first place.

Talking about Vega is fantasy football, the HAL won't be seeing a player like him in this decade. He is the fourth highest paid player in the MLS, earning a meager 6.3 million US dollars per year.

With COVID wreaking havoc in pretty much every other country worldwide, the aleague could become a very desirable destination for these kind of players.

Unless they get rid of the marquee slots then $6.3 million USD is pocket change to a billionaire in the top 100 of the Australian rich list. Maybe instead of "mark my words" he could say "mark my money" as he announces him. It's 0.60% of his total wealth. It's like a person with $50k in their bank account spending $300.

Would be pretty absurd for him to drop 3x cap on a marquee. Think people need to be a bit more realistic with their expectations.

So here we are, end of next week the transfer window opens again , I dunno what this means but we really need some help in defence. We are about to go on a slide down the table unless we can find a solution because there is none within the current squad.

is there a good Aussie central defender out there.

can we get rid of of imported players like Ziegler and Muller to allow us room for a imported centre back.

Is Ugargovic coming to us.

what is Danny Vucovic doing.

is Mustafa Amini available

From what I know, Tass isn't the player being traded to the Jets.

In saying that, his performance the other night makes me wish he was.

What is Bart Schenkeveld doing? Personally I think he was the best defender in the A-League when he was at City, absolute rock at the back.

Ya don't score goals ya don't win zip.........ala Ibini & troisi last minute efforts in the last two games. We had enough possession and chances to win.....we didn't take em. we need a striker.

All of this makes my blood boil at what a stupid signing Mutch was, we got rid of a foriegn player)well ziegler got citizenship to get a foreign spot and we then wasted it on a player in a position that we didn’t need who’s made of balsa wood (he’s probably a good player but it’s sod all use if he’s not on the pitch)

we obviously needed a CB and a RB
