  • Wanderers 2014/15 Membership Renewal Launches Friday 18th

    mack

The Western Sydney Wanderers will launch the 2014/15 Membership campaign on Friday the 18th of July.

Update: Membership Portal has launched via wanderland.com.au

The club announced the launch on Friday the 11th, including numerous changes and upgrades from last season. A link to the Wanderers news page is here. The new changes and upgrades include:

    • A loyalty initiative for renewing members that includes reduced membership costs as well as memorabilia for foundation members.
    • The introduction of a new payment option, where in addition to typical upfront payment, the new option for payment in monthly instalments over 10 months.
    • The introduction of a seat resale program to enable members who cannot attend matches to forgo their access to a match so their ticket can be on-sold, with rewards for those members who give up their seat.
    • A new online membership portal that includes the ability to forward a membership to selected people, a membership selector and online interaction with the membership team.
    • A new Junior Supporter membership package that includes various pieces of merchandise.
    • The final major development is that after a large volume of complaints about members not being able to pick-up their membership packs last season, this season they will be sent through the post.

Prices for this season are increased over the first two seasons. Foundation members have a slight rise in non-Red & Black sections, with family memberships costs also increasing. The cost increase for a Red & Black membership is higher in comparison to the other sections of the ground. New members in all sections are higher again compared to renewal costs for foundation memberships.

    • Red Memberships increase from $312 to $320 for foundation members and $335 for new members.
    • Black Memberships increase from $240 to $250 for foundation members and $285 for new members.
    • The White as well as the White & Black memberships increase from $195 to $200 for foundation members and $215 for new members.
    • Red & Black Memberships increase from $195 to $220 for foundation members and $235 for new members.
    • Supporter & Out of Towner memberships are unchanged.

A full size table of the pricing is available at this link.

Renewal will be open for 1 month from Friday the 18th of July through to the membership renewal deadline on Sunday the 17th of August. Supporter memberships will also be on sale from Friday and supporter members will be placed onto the ticketed membership waiting list while also getting access to the usual Football Family benefits.

Despite this forum being a welcome place to discuss memberships in 2014/15, specific enquiries should be directed to the club membership team through the club membership email address which is:

    • memberships@wswanderersfc.com.au

I look forward to renewing my membership on Friday and am sure that the club will eclipse the 16,900+ members from last season.

I called the club after receiving the email to say I am not happy that the season is about to begin and we will not have our packs for another "2 to 3 weeks". Nor am I happy that the person I spoke to seemed to think that was all okay. We have a long off season, the membership numbers and names are pretty much a known quantity so what is going on?? "Behind the scenes stuff" I was told. And "it's all better than going to Parra like last year". Actually no it ain't. If I can organize myself two months ago for the opening game against MV then our club can organize our packs before the season begins. I want my fridge magnet for Berisha's forehead and the clubs amateurism for me ain't good enough.

Mate most of the fixtures not the fridge magnet are wrong anyway and we don't need the membership pack because there aren't any home games for ages. Also, the packs are being shipped out from overseas and delivered to you by post so the club never have the packs in their possession.

The club has now added more Ticketed membership seats in the East and the West stand.

7 Bays total in the Western Section, and 3 Bays in the East Section.

No more excuses if you are after a ticketed membership  :woah:  :xnod:

By the looks of things, We only have 2 bays (71-72) reserved for the away team. :clapping:

I hope this extends to the Derby as well.

Pretty sure it will as the bays around the areas have been assigned to ticketed members.

if i wanted to get someone else a membership(ticketed membership) would she likely to have a ticketed membership next season?

Goat, if I understood correctly, you can get a ticketed membership THIS season atm

But you'd want to act on in asap

Whats the overall membership for all the clubs so far. Seems like most clubs are doing well with their numbers this year.

I read an article where arnold the knob still thinks esfc have it on us. Wtf. If it wasnt for us filling there stadium for 2 games there attendance would be substantially less i would imagine around 50000 or 5000 less per average than the 19000 quoted

thank you very much i managed to get a white membership, i made a mistake though and i asked them to send it to the wrong address and my girlfriend cant pick it up from my local post office, so does anyone know if there is a way i can get them to not send it at all and it gets picked up on matchday at parramatta stadium?

If you take derby crowds out of the equation for both clubs then Sydney FC average about 500 per game more than us.  They don't have the stadium capacity constraint that we do so we do very well comparatively.

So basically Arnie reckons there the biggest club ...because of us :meep:

also this year no ADP so i would imagine that might impact on their attendances - all though if they have a half decent year the casuals will come out of the woodwork.
