Note 1: Mitch Duke opened the scoring in the 5th minute as Nicolai Muller broke down the left flank into the penalty area before a perfect cut-back that gave Duke a simple pass into the back of the net. The Roar came back strongly, equalising in the 20th minute as ex-Wanderer Scott Neville was given a free header from a corner that he buried to make it 1-1. The Roar scored the winner after an hour, Brad Inman working a 1-2 pass with Muratovic before firing a powerful low drive into the far bottom corner to pick up the winner.

It's almost time to write another season off unfortunately.  We have 10mins.

I have aleady written it off..we were garbage first half last week and scraped over the line. Only decent game we have played is Vic away.

Babbel will have to go at seasons end.

What a disaster. Nearly half the season gone and we can’t even beat the Roar at home.

Meier with one measly goal to his name which came from a defensive mistake.

Zero urgency to get an equaliser... just ******* ****.

Babbel has been unlucky again tonight with the officials. Basically it’s a fantastic reason to sack him. He’s results are entirely dependant on marginal calls by the officials.

Surely there is a replacement for Yeboah hanging around in State league. Just a guy who can control the ball would be nice

Babbel out

Cant really comment as didnt see a kick of the game but seen enough this season to know the script.

We are a poor ******* side..simple as that.

Not doing anything this season and will take the second half excitement at Adelaide last week as the only only positive.enjoyed that..along with the derby fluke..

Babbel is going to have to go in April.

Honestly just shut the **** up with your petty personal bullshit.

Why April do it now. Soon we will have no crowd and Macarthur Bulls will be looking good. Losing to a side like Roar at home , we are a laughing stock.

I'm in disbelief at that lack of effort / creativity and ability. I thought we had the cattle & coach & stadium to boss the comp but wow. There must be some serious miscalculation at the top for this to unfold. There won't be any need for dramatic changes at seasons end as this story has an obvious outcome. Still not Babbel out just caring less.

At least Babbel made subs...

But still, we had them by the neck and then dodgy no-penalty call plus fluke Neville header and we're done

They then jag another fluke 1-2 goal which any other week would've been skyed to row ZZZZ and then they park the bus

I know we were crappy, hopeless, mistakes left right and centre (literally) but really the officiating was worse. First the obvious hand ball and then leaving Ziegler off for 5 minutes and we concede with ten men. Really getting hard to convince myself to attend games at this  point.

We created some good attacks, enough to win. We were unlucky not to get a penalty. The goals were defensive lapses which in theory can be stopped.

If this had been earlier in the season I would say that with some small improvements we can improve a few things and  challenge in the finals.

It is not earlier in the season. This game shows that Babbel can't make the adjustments we need to win. He has one of the two top squads in the league. Our season is done.
