Starting Sotirio and Jumpei as crucial roles in a front three is already a hangable offense. I really like the guy but he isn't utilizing our squad to anywhere near its potential by shoehorning these guys into these roles.

They were both starting befor gombau took over

Signing and keeping these players was a hangable offense. 

Something Gombau had nothing to do with

Popa had a different system where the wingers were not so important. The fullbacks overlapped and did most of the crossing etc. Gombau plays his wingers as traditional wingers. They are much more important to the system under Gombau, crucial even. Putting two strugglers  in such crucial roles is silly.

The problem with that system was that our fullbacks were always exposed, and teams got behind us on the wings. Best thing to do is get actual good wingers.

Every role is crucial regardlessof the system
