Great night and definitely a red but Saba milked it and Luppi lost it when he rolled. **** go by Luppi not shaking Sir Popa's hand and he will more than likely be banned from sideline next week for coming on the field.

Ref was poor and whistle happy even linesman missed another red card offense against Juric, Evergrade were clearly frustrated by us and last 15 minutes were heated.

Bring on next week as they will be out for revenge

Haliti man of match for me and Juric showed great energy to be there for the goal, we looked good at times and could have been 2/3-0.

Still can't believe we beat them can't wait for next week.

Look, If you slow down the video and get the correct angle, then both of them probably were send-offs.

But the referee had already lost control after the first send-off and he dug himself into a hole.

On the the first send-off if he had blown the free-kick against La Rocca for pushing the Guangzhou player in the back then he would never of gotten himself in the situation that he did.

But whatever, we won 1-0

So LaRocca was the best Italian in a league that contained Allesandro Del Piero.

And the best Italian in a game with Diamanti.

Also I can see Victor Saba is going to fit right in at western Sydney, he isn;t going to take any **** from anyone this season, and I like it  He isn't afraid to get stuck in

Similar stuff was happening at gate H because so many dumbasses didn't fold up their print at home tickets so they'd fit in the machine.

I wonder whether these people were counted for the attendance figure.

Indeed, I was worried after getting so far in the comp we might just give it away due to not being prepared, how stupid does it seem to think that now, WSW always dig deep.

Only half time really but we have given ourselves a real shot getting to the semi finals! Going to be tense viewing next week!

O and I think Lippi officially hates us now   But that is good as that means we did the job we set out to do and got right under their skin!

Mullen picked up a slight hamstring strain (as per the commentary of the game I'm just replaying) slater said that most hamstring strains, even just minor ones, will be a minimum of 10 days out. Big loss for next week seconds leg, hopefully alessi can step up like he did this week!

Says it all I think... As I said in the pre match thread, he had a chance to move his foot away from Saba's face, instead he dropped his foot, made contact, then lifted it up as if he didn't make contact or as if he tried to move the foot away. Those saying he made a meal of it, you try getting a boot to the face and you tell me how it felt? Anyone see the bruise on his face post match, under his right eye, clearly see where he made contact!

If anyone has instagram it's probably a good idea to go onto Saba's page and file some of the comments under harassment.

Funny how we were dominated by Evergrande in the first half 65% to 35% but we had the best three chances. Says a lot about Evergrande I think!

I don't think I have ever been so impressed with each individual player as I was tonight. We literally did not have a guy out there who did not play well.

I was particularly impressed with Cole. Was so efficient with the ball, dribbled at the right time, shielded it well, played the ball wisely & moved for the return. Showed his class taking the set piece with both left & right foot depending on the situation. Defended well, continually pressing & tracking his man, making Alessi's life as easy as possible.

I thought Golec was fantastic down the left too. When he was announced as starting there, i thought we would see a solid, defensively orientated performance. But what we saw was a player eager to overlap his winger & provide the option. Did so well in these more forward positions that he managed to get the winner.

Was so much fun to be out there tonight, man I missed it.
