We'll be wearing the black kit at the derby..

First time not wearing our red and black hoops..

I guess this is due to co-major sponsorships.. They have an agreed amount of games to wear the jersey..

Babbel looks like he has a new plan for this time round. His post match conference after Perth noted he had watched the game against Adelaide, and noted what worked for us during the FFA cup game in the 1st half.

Smurfs announcing more bays being made available to them  due to wanderers not filling allocated bays.

They cant fill current bays ...never mind more bays..desperation....

Its their home game. Best supported team n the country get farked...

Got in touch with my masochistic side and bought a ticket, just to see what SCG is like. I mean, come on, it can't be worse then Westpac, Adelaide Oval, or Spotless? Or can it? If it really turns out as dismal as some seem to think then not much will be left of Smurf FC in three years time.

My wife ain't coming. Being greeting by an all male security crew at the Allianz entrance last year did it for her.

Other than that: it will be a tough game for Smurf FC.Ziegler's return is immense, and Mahazi and Snake joining the party is an upgrade from the FFA cup game.

Expecting the worst

Hoping for a result or at least performance that salvages some sort of pride

First derby I’ll be missing in a while, how young can you bring little ones to games

I remember at parra in the east stand a family would rock up with a new born...so never too young.

It’s a fantastic ground.

For cricket.

The sun setting over the old members and ladies stands is one of the great sights in Sydney sport.

But even for cricket some of the romanticism has been lost since they built the new stand to make the stands wrap around. When there was a slight gap in the stands and just a concourse on one side and the old stands on the other it felt more like a cricket ground, whereas now it’s more a concrete cathedral.

I’m sure it’s a great AFL ground.

But as a football or rugby league ground it sucks.

It does has an atmosphere though. Something about the old place. History in the walls.

It can’t be any worse than that soul destroying cavern at Olympic Park.... can it?

No far from it.

I actually like the cricket ground, its an 170 year old stadium that has some history and unlike spotless, the stadium isn't soulless... it does have actually soul.

But for football, its not the ground I would want to watch football on.

We are getting spanked.

No other way about it now.

Let’s face it, it’s enagined in the clubs DNA now, didn’t anyone see the women’s derby... like Groundhog Day.
