How long does IPL last for, 3 months?

Surely something could be arranged whereby Glory loan him to India & then bring him back?

#Vision

The IPL isn't an official FIFA sanctioned competition, therefore I don't think he would be registered in India.

Yeah something to do with it conflicting with the actual Indian league or something - can't have 2 national comps or something, so it's short and considered a tournament?

Sydney FC like to say that Sydney is ‘Sky Blue’, but the reality is that since 2012-13 the Harbour City has been all about red sunsets and black nights

Dunno sorry. I didn't recognise him as a high profile player (but then you could write everything I know about rugby league on the back of a postage stamp and still have room left for the Gettysburg address)

Reports coming out that Victory fans attacked South Melbourne fans during the second half of the NPL match between them today.

When you say reports is it:

(A) Rumours through social media with a lot of inaccurate statements of what happened & nothing for the news networks to get stuck into it

(B) MSM media coverage, faux outrage & lots of accompanying opinion pieces

Option A reminds me of has happened with Easts recently with the CCM trip & the incident with the Urawa fan/flag. Can't see the FFA taking action unless it turns into (B)

Oh & will Roar get suspended points sentence & fine after flare? Or will it just get swept under the carpet

Full write up of events from Souths fans who eyewitnessed this available on 442 forum.

Check the first tweet, it's a channel 9 producer looking for video footage.

Just read the 442 post, lots of victory fans saying that only the NPL team should be punished & club be fined. If the FFA determine "that they've brought the game into disrepute (= MSM news coverage)" then I'll suspect they are screwed. Many Victory fans seemed to be resigned to the fact that they will be copping something significant & nothing they can do because of the brainless behaviour by a group of 30 fans. Will be interesting to see the next move by FFV & FFA.

MV/NT fans are not clever, apparently lots of CCTV have caught the events, club officials + official photographer also got some snaps/footage, SM games get broadcasted & NPL/politicians usually frequent these games too.

Also  at the MV fan who wanted fans not to share the footage because the media will roast them, if it didn't come from the fans then there would be a lot more sources that some damning footage could appear.

Mel M did a great couple of pieces on the our victory on Channel 7 News and Sport tonight - then added (to Mark Ferguson) at the end:

"Still buzzing from the Wanderers!"

Good on ya Mel! Terrific to have you back in a class lineup!

Hope you have admitted to Chris Bath that you and Jim Wilson share a great passion :-) - and we all look forward to seeing more of it in the months and years ahead.

Phil micallef.. that bloke cant resist a crack even when trying to write something nice...

"The Wanderers' support can be a bit samey at times and rather monotone, resembling a concert atmosphere rather than a football match ... but not this time."

I'm still not sure what he was trying to achieve with that comment.
