I think it was a no-brainer. The guy has had numerous injuries this season & needs to be managed. Was it last season or the previous that he ended up traveling o/s, not playing & then coming back & getting injured early in the campaign.

He is the player that makes them tick, especially with the way that they play. Maybe require a rethink or a different style o/s. Corica has shown his ability to evolve since starting off with arnieball 2.0, I’d back him to do something this year.

They're in the group of death again, Jeonbuk (Korean champs), Yokohama Marinos FC (Japanese champs) and Shanghai SIPG (Hulk, Oscar etc.) unless they dramatically alter the way they play, they won't get out of their group.

That’s exactly what won’t happen

it’s more likely they will be awarded three points and an apology from the league for any distress caused

Isn't the rule that because he got a yellow card, the MRP can't intervene because the referee already punished the thing, plus VAR should've also seen it?

Did he even get a card?

Yeah the match report on the A-League website says he got a yellow.

Unfortunately yes for Tilio

Corica could still be cited.

Corica SHOULD be cited.

If that was JPD, it would be all over the media.

Babel throws his jacket down, red card. Corica goes out of his way to abuse one of our players....

Corica could be shagging someone in the technical area and he still wouldn't get cited. I'd rather we just kept winning on the pitch to really piss the media off. Karma for me would be beating them in a finals.....or a GF......that would be westie heaven.

Love the Fox Sports chat from Harper and Bosnic tonight. 'Bimbi' was 'passionate' and 'in the heat of the moment'. They actually complimented Corica for sticking up for his player. Apparently Georgevski wasn't passionate nor was it in the heart of the moment??

**** this competition and their biased ****.

What is it with commentators using nicknames anyway, try to at least appear professional guys. Then again slater has embraced the 'sydney fan' tag and basically says FU to anyone complaining and yes, another is an ex ceo

There is absolutely no way Sydney should be allowed to host the A-League Grand Final at Bankwest should they get in it. Make them go somewhere else please.

It gets better for the Sky Blues faithful, and worse for their cross-town counterparts - there's every chance they could be holding aloft a different trophy at Parramatta later this year.

Bankwest and ANZ Stadium have been earmarked as the venues for the A-League grand final on the weekend of May 16-17, should Sydney FC lock in hosting rights.

But ANZ would only be used if a high-drawing opponent necessitated the use of the 83,500-seat Olympic Park venue over Bankwest's 30,000-strong capacity.

Of the teams still in realistic finals contention, only the Wanderers fit that bill - making the prospect of an A-League decider at Parramatta very, very real.

Its our fault, only have ourselves to blame

Surely they would wish for ANZ. After all they are the Manchester United of Asia with a mammoth following !!
