So.....Does anyone have any memories post beginning of November 2014?

Just goes to show that we've been mediocre for 4 years....

PS only exceptions are the 5-4 semi and SFC vincible season - 2 moments in 4 years....not good.

Being pepper sprayed.... ?

Bulut's goal that never was.... ?

There were some good games in that last season in parra but nothing that really stood out as memorable.

That was the season with the stadium wide **** the victory chant though wasn't it, so there's another.

Bannergate and the outrage over the banner by some on WSF was quite an interesting time...

No particular order, some have been mentioned......

- Brisbane semi @ wanderland, to think meow supporters were booking flights after the 20 min .

- Wellington away couple of years ago .

- all ACL games & white wanderland.

- Newcastle away with 10000 travelling supporters .

- stadium wide f$&k the victory ( with footage of someones grandpa singing the verse ) even let my 10 year old give it to them that night .

-airport arrival ( scenes like that will never be repeated in Australia )

- club letter , at start of season put a dagger in every active supporters back .

- unfortunately all these good times happened in the first 3-4 years, after that it’s turned to sh@t , then again when your boss is a tight ar$e what do you expect....!

No one ever mentions those mad minutes after the whole airport arrival, the people that run the place must've said 'to hell with paying for parking just get them out of here' and shut down the ticket payment machine then threw the boom gates open.

Saved me something like $120 for 3 hours of parking cheers guys.

Plenty of good stuff in the season we lost to Adelaide in GF

- Mitch Giving the Finger to Brisbane supoorters

- stadium wide f the victory at parra

- Castelan tearing the back out of Georveski

- Andreu sexual turn v Brisbane

- Hektik Hector on the church roof opposite the Pub in Adelaide

- post santalab f the victory song at Etihad

I honestly can’t think of a single good thing at spotless

ANZ would be the santalab derby

christ the last 2 seasons have been grim

Unlimiteds story of his night out with the Dutch girl, it was totally ace in its hopelessness

(sorry mate)

You know your club isn't travelling too well when a highlight is a forumite getting no action in the bedroom and your team getting screwed on the pitch.....lol

Ooh that turn. Nice one stringer. Mitch's finger and romeo tucking into Georgevski were good too.

LOL

Yeah looking back I’m not sure how that happened - surely, “Do you want to come back to my place for some Dutch Tea?” is clear innuendo

The Pio hattrick.....oh wait.

But how about all that marketing and hype when we signed Pio by the club - the Pied Piper celebration! Will we see it in Wanderland?!!! They hyped him so hard and then he didn't fit Popa's style or system at all.

I still think he had something to give, but not in that system.

first esfc away. Nothing will beat that day. waited how many years for that moment. From not having a western sydney initally in the league, to the failure of the rovers. many times it seemed that day would never come. the whole entire day/night was epic. remember at the final whistle thinking we waited 8 years for that day.

ACL in parramatta would come close second. crazy night/morning, absolutly freezing and a massive ride of emotions. will throw the airport arrival part of this.

melbourne away when they equalised with a free kick was one of the better away trips. crazy scenes before hand, people there know what im talking about, and the show in the stadium was glorious.

newcastle away to win the league would always have a soft spot.

wellington 20min boycott

brisbane semi final 5-4

not going to include the times against police and security, but they are always fun.

Some obvious ones like:

the early derbies - not because we won a couple and actually looked like we competed, but purely the atmosphere we brought and, what I felt, the energy we gave the players and what they gave back.

Shinji in general and his goal off a touch against Victory.

Poljaks goal against Seoul

Bridge's open goal miss against Newcastle

Ahh, the glory days.

Here’s some more

Shinji goal v Melbourne Victory where he hit it in the volley

Clisbys first tackle v Adelaide when he volleyed a random Spaniard into the air

Melling v Arsenal with his welcome to western sydney Mofo tackle

La Rocca W sign thing goal celbration in a derby

Bridge calling Boogard a f***ing s*** c***

NTS being sighted on a date in Frangoes Petersham

Bullut and the RBB sub group T shirt

Haliti in the rain

Saba winding up Lippi to the point he got sent off

Shannon Cole free kick in derby

Not really a moment, but the gentlemanly and sporting reaction of some of the Al Hilal players on the pitch directly after the final whistle of that ACL final, true sportsmanship that, trying to shake hands with gob flying at you, really really glad we stuffed them and their cocky arsewipe of a coach.

cue the GIF of their prince throwing his headwear on the ground ha ha.

Mooy booted ADP up in the air, in front of the cove one derby it was ace

Pretty sure it was the first away derby and he’d come off the bench about 4.5 seconds earlier.

Popa employing the tactic he used on Recoba in 2005 with those substitute instructions.

My strongest memory - missing the only goal in the Asian Champions League final because I was just about to step into my seating bay and return to my seat with the dodgiest of ice-creams when I heard the cheer after the goal was scored. That was fun.

As for positive memories, travelling to Melbourne to watch the Wanderers beat Heart in what was both Kewell’s and the Heart’s final game. That was cool.
