Taurus
Even delaying the kick off until 6pm on Sunday, would be welcomed by players & patrons. WL GF would only need to be delayed by 30 mins (5pm WA time) to accommodate this change Prydzopolis 1 Link to comment
Zelinsky
By kick off time the southerly will blow us out of our jerseys. The wind will carry goal kicks and corners over to ANZ. If temperature is going to drop by 20 degrees we'll go from all sweaty and hot to erect nipples in no time. jaepee36, GunnerWanderer, Prydzopolis and 2 others 5 Link to comment

BrightSpark
FFA have moved the Jets v Victory game due to forecast heat. Was Sat afternoon, now Monday night. I was looking forward to our game being 5pm, but not in 40+ temps. Hope they make it a 7pm kickoff. I suspect ours will only move if Foxtel approve. Given the glory game is a 7:50pm AEDT kickoff its not going to happen. Wow, can't remember the last time that all 5 games in a round were on 5 different days! Now we just need to expand to a 14 team comp, and I can live the dream of all week long, non-stop A-League. JackDoff and Prydzopolis 2 Link to comment

StringerBellend
This talk of resting people on yellow cards is crazy. We need the points 3 points. Points against the Mariners are worth the same as against sydney. If you rest a player because of yellow cars you are effectively voluntarily suspending him for one week, and then he's just as likely to pick up a yellow in the derby so then missing a second game.. Sure if we happen to go a few goals up and the game is won then sub a player. theguyyouwishyouwere, HillsPanther, Wanderboy and 7 others 10 Link to comment
Sithslayer1991
Can't really rest players for this game. Its too important. Mariners are dangerous with their quick wingers who i don't see affecting the game too much if the game is delayed because they will be.... cooked Edited February 9, 2017 by Sithslayer1991 Link to comment

Wouldn't you rather your strongest possible lineup against 1st place if you can have someone capable of filling in against 9th place? Otherwise next week everyone will complain Ibini got a hattrick because Hamill played LB because Clisby was suspended. Themumf
If Mitch is carrying a niggle like it's being reported, I don't really want him running around in the heat with the Smurfs just around the corner. Fair point. Although I would rather see you pull your boots on than Sotirio or Jumpei. You sure? My playing days are gone. I'm a referee these days. At least you had playing days champ.. Paul01
Mitch will be playing with the 200 game announcement on the club website For those interested, we have Kris Griffiths-Jones as the central referee on Sunday. Hope he doesn't award any if our players a DOGSO like he did to Tyson last time we played the Mariners. One of his assistants is Lance Greenshields.Any comments Gazmon? Link to comment

Not forecast to be so bad now with the southerly coming through earlier than forecast yesterday. Shouldn't be too bad at kick off time. Might even be a bit cloudy and cooler by then. Probably why FFA have been holding off on postponing the game. Edited February 9, 2017 by Wanderboy Prydzopolis 1 Link to comment

Mitch to score a worldly, the crowd go crazy, the stadium is destroyed (somehow ).
