octa9ona11 Posted May 12, 2021 Posted May 12, 2021 Its all good, according to rumours Demba Ba is incoming next season👍👍 In all seriousness though, he is linked with us, SFC and MVC. Id certainly take him even at 35. Stevie G would still be having nightmares about him🤣🤣

Grozos......Yeboah.....McGowan.....Mutch.....the rest....? At a guess: Duke (as he is on loan) or McDonald, Baccus (if someone in Europe still wants him), Cancar, Mueller, Ziegler or McGowan, Grozos, Yeboah. Janjetovic if we are lucky. Mutch if he doesn't demonstrate his worth in the next few weeks. Something like that. The assumption is that the contracts of Baccus and Ziggy are going to being renewed. Add a quality CB, LB, CF, AM alternative to Troisi, and CM (if Mutch does not work out), and we'll be rocking next season. sonar and Wanderboy 2

You gave everything for us on the pitch, tried everything you could, ran your heart out, scored a few important goals, assisted some important goals, you will be missed. Would be a fairy tale ending if he gets to go back to Southend United and take them back up into League 2. I really hope he does well wherever he ends up, ill be looking to see how he gets on. However, he worked extraordinarily hard and opened up opportunities for players like Bridge and Hersi to score instead. Both Cox and Dino will always be Wanderers legends, and I feel privilidged that they showed so much passion for our club. Unlike some others that I will refrain from mentioning but we all know who they were. Simon Cox - you were, and always will be, a Wanderer. Sithslayer1991 Posted May 13, 2021 Posted May 13, 2021 Hey don't forget Mustafa Amini is still around recovering from his surgery. Also hearing Caceres may leave Smurfs rumour is he wants more game time than Corica has been granting him.
Davo Posted May 13, 2021 Posted May 13, 2021 Did the club ever announce whether Cox was under the cap or a marquee? Having a foreign spot outside the cap could be useful in the run in to the finals.
iamwesternsydney Posted May 13, 2021 Posted May 13, 2021 I always liked Cox, he is a hold up the ball forward more than a goal scorer. Just went a different way to our tactics EmMac, matty, Potkorok and 2 others 5

GD07 Posted May 13, 2021 Posted May 13, 2021 Amini and Davila would be top signings. Them and a La Rocca style DM would (should) give us one of the best midfields in the league.

I worked with his mum, he's an AC United & Marconi junior. I wouldn't mind having Caceres at the Wanderers. The only problem is he has been playing as a right or left midfielder during the season so how would Robinson use him? However, he has recently been playing as a defensive midfielder thus meaning he'll be fighting to be in the starting XI against Baccus, Dorrans, Mutch and Ugarkovic. Can he play as an attacking midfielder? I know Amini can play as an attacking midfielder and I personally feel he'll be joining the club next season. The thought of Amini and Troisi having rotations as the attacking midfielder for the club would be a very smart move in my opinion. My only concern is Amini hasn't been on the field since June last year and would be the same player he was for Aarhus GF.
